Guy Courtney Steib is a US Army Veteran, a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He has called the northwest Houston area home for decades, living in Katy from 1991 to 2011 and in Cypress ever since. Cypress is his hometown, the city he loves, and he would be proud to be your neighbor.

He came to real estate as an investor and became a REALTOR to help others build a home and build wealth the same way. That background means he sees every deal from both sides: what a property is worth, and what it takes to make it a home.

Empathy isn't something I learned in a course. I've lived it.

I bought my first home in my twenties, and I've bought and sold many houses since. I've been married, I've been through a divorce, I've raised children, and now I'm a grandfather. I'm a real estate investor, so I know what a property is worth, and what it costs to make it right.

And I've been the executor of my own mother's estate. When she passed, she owned three properties in three different states, each with its own laws and its own set of lawyers. I know that weight from the inside: the paperwork, the decisions, and the job of handling a loved one's home while you're still grieving.

That's why I'm empathetic. Because I've probably been in your shoes.
